Meet Some of our Kitchen Refresh Franchise Owners!

Experience with Kitchen Refresh franchise ownership.

Albert, property manager and DIY background

Albert is the owner-operator of our longest operating Kitchen Refresh territory, which is located in Bismarck, ND. Albert came from sales professional and property and business operation management, has a wealth of carpentry talent, and used Kitchen Refresh on some of the rental properties he owns. As Albert says, “I loved the Refresh product so much - I bought the franchise territory!” Albert now has several employee installers, a painter and a project manager while he focuses on consultations and sales. He now has three Kitchen Refresh-branded company vehicles, two branded trailers, and a beautiful design studio and shop to hold his order product.

Jerry & Shelly, former general contractors

Jerry and Shelly are the owners of the Rochester and Bloomington, MN, territories. They were owners of their own general contracting business and then Jerry was contracted to be an installer for a Kitchen Refresh location. It wasn't long after that and he fell in love with our simple system of how quickly kitchen remodels can be completed and began to inquire, "How much can a Kitchen Refresh owner-operator make?" He then quickly jumped on board and acquired two open territories. They now have one of the most successful operations. Jerry has also now “put down his tool belt” and focuses on the sales aspect of their business. They have 2 project managers, several installers and painters, and other ancillary staff.

Jennifer, interior design; Chuck, contractor

Jennifer and Chuck are the owners of the Sioux Falls, SD, and the Omaha, NE, territories. Jennifer always had interior design talent and project management skills and Chuck has long-time carpentry and business management skills. They have since grown their operation, adding a painter and installers, letting Jennifer focus on sales and project management.

Jeff, sales professional

“Bet on yourself.” That’s what Jeff says about leaving his 8-5 job where he had used his professional sales skills to sell custom cabinets. Now he’s in charge of his own destiny as a franchisee of the Milwaukee South Territory. He had been getting client requests for a refacing-style method for cabinets and jumped at the chance to introduce Kitchen Refresh to his market. He's now the proud owner of his Kitchen Refresh territory. Jeff also used his custom cabinet contractor connections to acquire a great carpenter and painter, and he focuses on the sales aspect of the business.

Andrea, interior designer

Andrea has an interior design degree and was the first owner-operator for the Kitchen Refresh system, buying the Fargo, ND, Territory and then the Grand Forks, ND, Territory. She has since joined with Bryan, a former heavy equipment mechanic and service advisor for one of North America’s largest tractor dealerships, to become her business partner and installer. They have since added several office staff, installers and painters as they continue to expand their business. Andrea also uses Kitchen Refresh to expand her interior design service sales. Michael, former kitchen refacing-remodeling installation

Michael Enlow has worked in the construction and kitchen refacing-remodeling industry for years. After working with other companies that proved to be inferior methods, wrought with issues, he began searching for an alternative. Enter Kitchen Refresh.

After much research into the unique Kitchen Refresh methods with all-new cabinet doors, he found it was superior to typical cabinet refacing and without the custom remodel price tag.

“Being in the reface space for the past 3 years, allowed me to see what flaws there are with other products and processes. When introduced to Kitchen Refresh’s method, I knew immediately that I had to bring this product to the Indianapolis market. It is not only affordable, but a better quality product all around.”

Jimmy, former general contractor

Jimmy, Des Moines North Territory, is the owner of his own general contracting company and had experimented with a kitchen refacing process using a similar approach as Kitchen Refresh. “It was a disaster,” Jimmy said. Kitchen Refresh provided him the focus that he was looking for, coupled with systems for much faster turnaround results, enabling him to operate at a much higher margin with far fewer people - going from two 3-person teams for all the drawn out general contracting work he used to do down to just him. Resulting in higher profit margins and more income for himself.

Jenn, former custom cabinet designer and sales

Jenn is the owner-operator of the Far North Shore Territory near Chicago. Previously, she was a contracted designer/salesperson with a custom cabinet company. She was attentive to the marketplace in her area and was getting an ever-increasing volume of inquiries for a simpler, faster - and much more affordable - cabinet remodel method and could visualize herself selling Kitchen Refresh as a solution. Jenn seized the opportunity to leave her position with the custom cabinet company to become her own boss as a Kitchen Refresh owner-operator.

Emily, interior designer; Bill, former closet system manufacturing

Emily and Bill are the owner-operators of the St. Paul, MN, Territory and Plymouth Territory. Emily is an interior designer who wanted to keep the revenue when selling kitchen cabinet remodels as opposed to sending that money off to a third party cabinet retailer, and Bill is a former production manager of a closet manufacturing company. Bill handles the Kitchen Refresh installs for their territory. Adding two Kitchen Refresh territories to their interior design business enabled Bill to leave his job while providing a great income and the flexibility needed for their young child at the time. Stephanie & Brandon, former contractors

Stephanie and Brandon are the owner-operators of the NW Oklahoma City Territory. Prior to Kitchen Refresh, they had a digital marketing business and had also been contractors for an automatic gate system, handling sales, installation and service for residential and commercial facilities, along with billing and scheduling. Brandon also has deep experience with DIY home repairs and remodeling. "Having a quality product and a proven system like Kitchen Refresh was a big deal to us," Brandon said. "And I love that Kitchen Refresh offers a lower price point in the marketplace for consumers and that clients see their transformation quickly," Stephanie added.
