Jerry and Shelly Carr are originally from Michigan and have been in Minnesota for 24 years, in the same home that entire time. They have raised 4 children there, but are nearly empty-nesters and looking forward to grandchildren.
Jerry has an engineering background but prefers construction over manufacturing.
They have been working in or on kitchens since 1999. and have flipped homes for many years, and just finished their “last one” in 2021. Now, they exclusively beautify other people’s kitchens!
They are working to reach the highest level of Kitchen Refresh achievement by answering client inquiries quickly, conducting consultations and estimates within as few days as possible when first requested, and adding qualified and capable people to their team as they continue to grow to help them achieve superior client satisfaction.

The Kitchen Refresh kitchen remodel process is simple:
30-60 minute meeting in your home, virtually or at the design studio
Understand your budget and goals
Provide an estimate
Once you decide to proceed and have paid, an appointment is set up to complete a measure
This creates the order that is provided to the production center
Every door, drawer front, panel end, etc. is custom manufactured specifically for your kitchen
Once completed, we use Kitchen Refresh vehicles to minimize damage for transport of the items to the design team
Once your product has been delivered to the design team, the painting of your cabinet boxes is scheduled and your kitchen remodel process begins
This painting is completed or coordinated by Kitchen Refresh, or by clients if they opted to do that
All your doors and drawer fronts are removed, and any cabinet additions or deletions are also completed at this time.
Generally, all contents of the cabinets stay in place, only items from drawers need to be removed.
Painting generally takes 2 days.
After the paint has cured on the cabinet boxes, then the doors, drawer fronts and other items are installed
This process usually takes just one day or less – and your kitchen remodel project is complete and ready for you to enjoy!
